Kyrian Dreamer Registered: 15/03/02 Loc: York, England	Sorry for the totally depressingness, but I am just really shocked. When i saw him reguarly he was only 2, which i guess would probably put him at or near 4 now, but he is the sweetest little kid. He was diagnosed on December 23rd, so, just over a week ago. We just got an email (the friends of the family kind of thing) and they put up a website and stuff for him and its all just sort of new and confusing and scary. We appreciated visits to the hospital, toys to keep our well seeming boy amused, dinner cooked so when we got back we could eat easily. Our boy was diagnosed with typeone diabetes, not leukemia, and it is a huge change in your life ti have a child dianosed like that. Please support your friend. Send books and other stuff, or donate time to the childrens ward of your local hospital if your friend is far away...do poi with them there . _________________________ Is it the Truth? They are so far away it is hard to do much, motsly now i just email well wishes and hopefully I will be able to visit them in the next couple years. The meds make him very depressed though. I hope your child does well!! I imagine its hard, I can't imagine really. shivers I'm sending out lots of positive energy lately! _Aim�e_ Carpal \'Tunnel Registered: 02/01/04 Loc: Hastings	my dad had a type of lukimia, but it was called non-hodgekins(sp?) its cancer of the lymphatic fluids. hes four years in remission now and doing great, the longer it stays away the less chance it has of returning. sending out all my love, im positive he will be ok
