Hula hoop tricks

Yes, I noticed the dates were pretty new on those sites.. I've been trying out some tricks that are pretty fun, I like to swing it up over my body once I've brought it up over my head.. then continuously swing it around your body down by your feet. jump into it and and give your wrist an extra twist as you push it back around your waist... SO glad I finally have a hoop!..

how does the hoop not melt? Is it not made of plastic like my earth built Hula-hoops?

yep the hoop can be made of plastic or metal beacuse the wick is attached to little spikes on the out side of the hoop

blueberry fox, can you give me the name of the plce you brought your hoops at, Im in NZ and am so keen to get so propper cicus hoops but alas all i can find are dinky plastic pink ones

All the circus hoopers i have met use hoops like this. just make sure you get tubing that is quite stiff. It is best to try stuff form an irigation supply store rather than the stuff from a hardware store(this stuff tends to be chepper but to flexible).
