Giant devil sticks

Just for fun tonight I took an old staff, one that was weighted towards the ends anyway, and two 4 foot wooden dowels and tried playing giant devil sticks. I lashed the dowels to my forarms so I basically used my whole arm as the hand stick. Lots of fun!

Course this was my first try with devil sticks so I kept dropping it, but it was fun! Plus you can throw in staff contact rolls all over if your actually good with them.

Comedy devilsticks are great fun try doing really really small versions (matches and a knitting needle) i've done staff on fire standing on the edge of my friends three storey flat.

Tie poi to the end of the staff and light them flailing poi devilstick!

I took my staff and just used my wrists as manmipulators, got pretty good at it after the first ten minutes or so.
