theere appears to be some very delicate pottery pieces (an exhibition openeing maybe?) on the piazza tonight, and i doubt they would appreciate people throwing balls around them....so, plan B

Hello Brizzie people!

I'm going to be taking a well-deserved break from the nasty miserable English weather at the end of the year and heading to sunnier climes. I'll be in Brisbane from Thurs 22nd December till Thurs 29th.

Will the juggle jam be happening on Boxing day? If not, then anyone want to meet up while I'm there and show me how Aussies spin?

Many people who go to Juggle Jam at the Piazza will be going to Woodford Folk Festival straight after Christmas. SO if you are around, it would certainly be worth you goin up there for your few days.. you'd not only see how Aussies (and assorted imports ) spin (come to the Circadia venue), but also how we play music, eat, dance, do theatre, organise mega events, party and camp out! If you don't have camping gear, there is a Tent Motel onsite that is pretty cheap and has good facilities.

Apart from lots of people being away, the other thing that determines if Juggle jam will happen or not is that it's held in a public space that is used for events etc as well.. uthere's nothing listed on the official page for Boxing day though, so.. you might be in luck! My guess is it will be pretty quiet though...

Yeah, I saw the webpage for Woodford. Don't think I'll be able to make that though as I'm holidaying with my family.

I shall see what I can do though.

Any HoPpy Brisbaners going to be around that week who isn't going to Woodford?

perhaps I'll bring a comfyland and just sloth about... and maybe some coconut oil for back/foot rubs... and pillows for naps and... if I have acrylics on there too can i justify it as juggle jamming???

I feel all refreshed after sleeping at 8:30pm last night and waking up at 1pm today (I'm such a sleepyhead) so I reckon I'll be there. Gonna pack my toys soon.

yep me to, Joel.. I fell into bed the minute I got back from dripping you at the station and slept till 9.30 I think that's um... 14 hours?
