so i finally got btb forward weave because I'm a dirty slacker and was almost there.... there's a wee trick to it 3 years in the trying lmao

TIME FLIES!!!!!!!

I was working on my 2-beat weaves last night (I've only been at this for 3 days!) and I somehow managed to go into a 2-beat weave and come out crossing forward same-time. I was then able to work this so that I could go into a 2-beat weave, start doing crosses, then back into a weave before I pulled out back into split-time. Wasn't entirely planned but ight keep it in mind for changing modes later on.

Anyone who spins poi is for sure to get a kick out of this

i'll be the painful rookie here. my big project right now is getting my turns smooth. pet projects are improving isolations and wraps.

i never appreciated how much time and effort you can spend on turning when you really want to nail it consistently.

Auspoiboy, I guess it is just remembering which hand follows which. To me, it was just one of those things that clicked into place, though my rhythm still need some smoothing out out my left side. I understand what you are talking about.

Anyone know of a tutorial for reverse 5bt weave? I can't seem to get it.
