It's 2007, so what are your goals for this year?
I'm not real sure what mine are yet, I'll come back and edit this when I know them, but I do know a couple for sure: go to uberparis, and finish the LAB series of videos.
What are yours? Remember a year is a long time...
okay... my goals:
:: Tell a story, or at least communicate something other than "I can do staff well" in a routine.
:: learn a couple more performance styles.
:: get my knee better and do more acrobatics.
:: learn contact doubles, and possibly long doubles also.
:: make more comedy non-fire staffs.
:: learn to juggle three staffs
:: quit my job. go to circus school.
:: learn roue cyr 
:: make more doubles tutorials.

Learn the matrix.
Other than that unlikely prospect. Well there's always more singles stuff to re/discover, doubles contact, triples contact, head spins, using my legs, dancing more, getting it clean, writing a routine, getting that clean.... and above all learning how to learn.
And if all that wasn't enough to be going on with I've got to act on the realisation that in a lot of cases it's my physical condition that's holding me back. So it's time for some serious training and possibly taking up some other discipline in order to explore and develop my movement more fully.
Oh and traveling to see more staffers/getting to more juggling festivals!

I can do Jesuses, pivot conveyor belts but I STILL can't get an angel roll!!! (kinda like how I learnt BTB weave before hip reels!)

My goal for the year, after having seen Varekai and working for Cirque at the moment, is to join them and travel around the world as a performer, it's a big goal, but being as that all I do in life is juggling and object manipulation, I think that it is an acheivable goal (with lots and lots of hard work). Other than that, learn more contact staff, especially the matrix, learn how to juggle 5 balls, hats and work on my meteor skills.

I think 'The Architech' is just talking about staff moves using all the correct terms as well as throwing in words like 'centrifuge'. For 30 bloody minutes...

more doubles contact
learn to wiggle
sort out me and tims routine, which we havnt even started properly yet
do some work for chimaera rather than sitting on my arse all day
hit myself in the face less
get backwards matrix solid

avoid getting a new job and spin more
get paid more for gigs and find festivals that will pay rather than just giving us free tickets

Actually find some time to play with stick
Some staff training/practice rather than playtime sessions when I do make the time (e.g. all the 1/2 beats possible in the world ever)
Go to more conventions/meets to see LOVELY LOVELY people, oh and learn things
Get back my fluidity
Try and learn some more "moves" and thieir "families" (throwy things, better and new steveages, snesing, matrices (joining the 2 1/2s), better and new fishtails, pivoting joys)
Get happy with more o my repertoire on fire
More movement/prancing/poncing/posing of myself
Lots more I'd like to do, but a year isn't that long if you don't have a lot of staff time

I've been a bit slack recently. Only discovered a couple of new things in the last couple of months and havent even got those down.
Get to more big meets and actually swap some ideas with other staffers.

Beg/buy/borrow/steal some pixie stix and clean up the flowers I was learning at Ed. really enjoyed that. Then much like Neon I need to learn the contact tricks I know one way, the other way, and start working on transitions and all the crazy endless McTrickery MCP,Strugz Chrono and the like are so amazing at
