Then why are you starting another thread about it? There's tonnes of results for "+tube +cathedral +pros +cons"!

Here's an actual article:

Its only Flid.

He rips me to shreds when it comes to searching for stuff too..

Should it be called doing a Flid instead?

yeah

'a durbs' could fairly be where you tell people to go search but don't suggest any search terms or links to threads.

'a flid' could be saying 'do a search using these handy tips i'm about to give you to help you get to the right results - and if you still can't find it, here's a handy link'.

although, having the sentence 'do a flid using "ball" and "chains"' on the site might attract some bad reactions from angry mothers groups...

Hey! I'm an angry mother!
Go and do your homework!

I recently bought some poi with 'cable chain': like bicycle brake cable or a thick guitar string. Advantages are; Light, and it untangles very easily: just drop one poi and it slithers off the other one very fast.
Disadvantages: cable can get kinked and look a bit dodgy when not being used. Doesn't matter to the spin though. And it's tempting to do body wraps with it: (works well when not lit!) but of course the cable heats up, so not a good idea!

Why is ballchain god?
(I just came off the *ask a stupid question get insulted* thread so I hope it'snot contagious!)

god is god - we cannot question why.
if ballchain is also god then we can therefore not question ballchain either by association.
which makes sense cos being just a chain, it wouldn't understand our theosophical ramblings anyway...

for a real answer, read this thread.
the kinks that get into cable come from the twisting they undergo whilst spinning.
ballchain is lush for so many reasons, but has a few serious disadvantages for professionals imho.

To be honest Vanize, I don't always find answers by using the search function on HoP. I just tried 'ball chain' in a search and came up with what seems to be an extraordinarily random range of threads. As I;m on my way to bed and don't want to spend and extra hour reading. So if someone makes a direct comment like * x is god* I'd rather ask them directly about their experience.
SO thanks again Cole for sharing with a newbie!
