Ohhhh.... I was in NZ a couple of years ago and they had a great new year festival near Arthurs Pass...
Alpine Unity, it was called... not sure if it's on this year.

hi
i dont know about anything down there but there are a coupla festivals you could go to. there are always spinners. try phat06. i think thats at the top of the south island though.
personally im going to rhythm n vines, along with 13 other spinners, to rock it out!
oh yeah!
im from wellington. so if you're up this way at all, drop me a line and i'll hook you up with the right people...
(you could try running a search for festival + new years + nz in google or something and im sure there'd be tonnes of stuff...)
