New Toys!! New style!! Find similar topicfind similar

ok recently ive been workin on a new style thats a cross between staff and fire whips. i can do a little bit of both but i was wondering if anybody did this because then it wouldnt be all to new now would it. i come up w\ alot of cracked out ideas and modify other peoples ideas so some fresh perspectives would be nice.
now on the dimensions of my new toy.

Practice Version: Non Fire:
Get a length of pipe (preferably pvc pipe do not use metal pipe its too heavy!!!)
make sure that its suited to you
too long and you cant control it and it gets dropped alot
too short and you cant get the momentum required to use the whip part of the staff.
Get a drill and 2 peices of rope each around 3 feet
drill a hole at each end of the pipe
thread the rope through the hole so that you have 3 feet of rope out of each side. Now its smart to tie them off so you dont have rope just flying off when you try a move.
basically thats it
now just play around w\it
ive been able to do basic moves but i havnt found anything really nice yet......
more details to come......and fresh ideas are nice!!

I think that's more like rope tied onto a staff. It's been discussed a lot here, as far as I know no one has really come up with anything interesting as far as moves go but that doesn't mean they don't exist.

Anyways do a search on swastika or poi staff and you will probably find some of the old threads.
