Bump this back to the top every once and awhile. Maybe people will stop asking about it.

I think this whole art would be WAY cooler if we renamed everything after scateboarding terms.Think, which sounds cooler: I was doing a weave, then busted out a windmill, then quick switched into a reverse weave. OR I was doing a Kickflip McTwist, then busted into a Fingerflip Airwave, then quick switched into a 360 Shove-It Rewind. You KNOW I'm right Then we could just switch into a Tony Hawk system of points scoring! (Laughing as I'm thinking of the next "Circles of Light" video with actual digital points values popping up for each trick...)

dont laugh NYC - I was thinking of doing this for some instructional vids I'm considering doing...not the scoring, but a read out which displays current move/combo on it...means the instructional video could be continuous movement, rather than breaking it all down and taking it out of context (ala, learning the moves, but not the dance).Josh

Points for difficulty of moves... lol, im down with that. They should make a poi videogame. Sorta like that Dance Dance revolution game but with like gloves that have sensors in them and shit. That would be quite interesting ------------------

Question: When doing the foutain, do you sort of turn to the sides when doing the chase parts or do you turn the plane of the poi and stay facing forward? I learned the former under the name of "the lunge", and the latter seems rather a lot harder.

I kinda taught myself the latter, although it can look a little uncoordinated at the moment;)

you'll be lucky to get glass to comment on this one on the board - i reckon its cos he doesn't really know either

i think we should change the name of this trick from fountain to the "greasy flamingo"
i waxed the weave and busted into a greasy flamingo which sent me flying.
NO!?
