I thought some of you might be interested in this trick that Drew Tetz came up with.
It is similar to regular hyperloop buzzsaw except that you don't have to dismount it. You just let go of the strings while it is spinning in the middle and it undoes by itself.
Showing a smooth way in and a variation (the variation would probably be a bit trickier with poi to get into):

In normal HB, you twist on the outside, it stays constant in the inside and untwists on the opposite side. But the tricky thing is exiting out at the right time or else it'll knot up. In Drew's trick, you first twist the opposite way, and pinch as you go into the tangler. So as it rotates in the middle, it has really already undone itself and you can let go at any time without a knot.

hey gang. shawn's little yo-yo friend here.
the "venkman" (okay, air wrap, orbital, whatever :P) basically never caught on in the yo-yo world, basically because it was really hard to get out of without killing the spin for the yo-yos. then, of course, tangler (okay, yes, hyperloop buzzsaw) came along and, as it's infinitely less risky than the venkman, caught on. now the double-a (two-handed looping) yo-yo community is doing under-the-leg tangler and 360 tangler and all that, but the air wrap is woefully unknown.
does anybody have a good, clear video of an air wrap, perhaps for posting on a yo-yo board?
also, i don't know how much string kink stuff is going on in poi, and i know that pinching/pinwheeling/doing HB with a double kink is pretty annoying with sock poi, but i hope some of you like fake-HB. it has potential for leading out of wraps and other HBs and stuff, i think.
