Ta da!!!!!
(and other fanfare-esque noises)
Owing to the fact that he is rubbish at marketing himself...
This is to announce the launch of the most awesome book on Contact Juggling to hit the shelves since, well... ever
For those who don't know:
Drew Batchelor (aka Glass) has been a highly respected part of the UK juggling/object manipulation scene for the last 10 years...
His innovative approach to poi, staff and contact juggling have inspired people and ideas for years.
And now... after two years of hard work, planning, sleepless nights and expense... he has completed his first tutorial book... Multiball Contact.
The book is in several sections and will teach you the basics, and advanced, techniques of contact juggling (no clicks... make it look like an illusion...).
It has great, easy-to-understand, pictures; excellent descriptions and handy hints to refine your ball manipulation skills
Anyone who has seen Drew contact juggle, or has taken one of his workshops at juggling conventions, will know that he is the most able CJ teacher around...
So, if you want to improve your contact, if your ceilings are too low for poi, or if you just want something else to amaze your friends... get this book.
You'll be supporting a local artist and learning stuff at the same time. Win
Copies can be pre-ordered here:
http://www.ministryofmanipulation.com/shop.php
And the book will be ready for delivery on Friday
Best wishes
Clare
x
PS: And well done Drew...
PPS: I know I've posted this in a couple of different threads... I hope no-one minds... just trying to reach as many of the non-regulars as possible

Doubt this thread is the right place for it, but could someone give a quick explanation of the difference between contact and non-contact juggling?

Contact juggling: http://ministryofmanipulation.com/video-InIsolation.php It's not juggling Ball is (mostly) in contact with the person!
Juggling: is the throwy catchy stuff.

I received my book this morning
I love the look and feel of the book (particularly the sense of humour with which it is written) and I'm really impressed with the sheer volume of information.
Only problem is that I have to unlearn so many bad habits in order to start learning 'properly'. Ah well, the road to perfection is a long one
Congratulations on an excellent product Drew.

I get my copy at BJC...
I read the test print, and there was more information in the book than I imagined!
So looking forward to getting this book...
Very well done Drew.
I look forward to the next project.

my copy just arrived minutes ago! I can't believe how fast it got here, with a nice note from Drew. I am at work now and can't have a proper play but I can't wait to dive in! On first glance I am a) astounded by how much is in here and b) really impressed with the design. Also, it smells good (I'm a bit of a freak that way).
Congrats Drew! I think this will keep me occupied for a long, long time.
