Adding Grip to the 3-Piece Contact Concentrate Inner Core Staff find similar

So, I have the Concentare Innercore contact staff. I know it doesn't come highly recommended but, for my purposes, a 3 piece staff is essential. I'm a relative newbie at the whole contact scene but have realised that a cushioned grip can make things a whole lot easier.
So, before I go out and buy 3 tennis/hockey/squash grips, has anyone done this before?
I don't think just gripping the centre piece is enough, am I right? Am I just paranoid that unless the grips are completely flush they will cause problems?

I've gripped just the center, and it was better than what it came with. I still need to get around to gripping from the other ends-out to make the actual grip area longer, but I'd recommend gripping it

ask concentrate for revisions. if u don't tell em, then they don't know. previous feeback has affected how the previous 2 revisions to the 'innercore' 3 piece staves. drop em a line - they send stuff all over the world all the time and will be happy to speek with u. I have some photos of some new prototypes of new stuff coming out from em...

Haven't had a prob with spins with firetoys silicon grip, not that I can normally get more than 7 rotations or so anyway (with any staff)

i need very little friction as for some combination moves I pirouette in the opposite direction of the palm spin's torque.
the grip in the pair of innercore v2 staves i have have alot more traction than the 1 peice concentrate sticks.

I'll be honest and say that more traction is perhaps better, for catching throws, gripping during complex contact movements and other antti style elite stuff
