second only to the text i got last night that just said 'box' this is the most cryptic message i've read of late.

and that's saying something seeing as i'm reding lewis carroll at the moment.

name a toy and i might get it.

and if ya say balls i want a type.

and if that type isn't 'contact' i demand numbers.

and well done

humm,

Toy: cheap juggling balls

trick: 4 ball a-sync and 3 ball box.

catches:19 4 ball and 9 box, which is still officially juggling.

got my first ever btb airwrap but i think it's one of those things that just happened and will never be repeated again without looking like too much effort and untidy.

But i came up with an under the leg fountain! now i just have to practice it when i'm not too celebrally inebriated and i can stand on one leg for long enough...
Oh and a couple of butterfly throws.

P.S bird congrats on the isolated buzzsaw. it's such a lovely mindbender of a trick to non spinners.

From what I have seen, tis a mindbender to other spinners too, if they can't do it!

I've still not got it very neat yet, but its coming!

I just got the 5bt weave! it wasn't nearly as hard as I thought. Yay! And I've nearly managed a 4bt TTN.

Not too shabby for 1 afternoon.

Let's see, recent successes.. finally got the butterfly weave (thanks to.. me! Yes, me! Okay, fine, NYC verified that I was doing what I thought I was doing. A little credit for that. ), and a smoother hyperloop in me corkscrew, and what may or may not be a 7bt weave (w/wraps, not with wacky extra joints).. actually, finally got a few wraps... and what I'm told is indeed a simplistic flower.. and that's it. And I managed a tangled buzzsaw once, then failed to repeat it. Making progress with isolations, but not there yet. Grarh. Not too shabby (by my personal standards), considering that I spend all my freakin' time on work and school.

Today I nailed 5bt reverse weave and 5bt reverse ttn. I can presumably also do the 5bt "impossible weave" as I've been almost doing it, only with a funky split time 4bt ttn on the reverse side. Had to really work on my wrist flexibilty to get the 5bt reverse weave. Speaking of which, I wonder if anyone knows any tubby guys with short arms that can do btb weave. This is one of the only moves that I have yet to learn and the problem I'm having seems to be a physiological one. Being relatively rotund and having shortish arms, I can't really cross my wrists behind my back. I've been stretching quite a bit, I hope that will resolve the problem.

P.S. I've been spinning for 3 months.

finally got to play again. upward butterfly airwrap wall plane, knot at 12:00 for more than one beat, stick index fingers into plane, then dragon's tongue both poi on fingers for 3/4 beat, bring pull out and shoot to 45 degrees above horizontal, fall to inverted wall plane to release. cyclops with a moustache- man it's fun

I can do BTB weave both directions and I'm quite chunky and have short arms You'll find your arms get more able to stretch as you practise

5 beat butterfly weave, at least in one direction. Almost got the other direction as well, and then turning comes next. Damn those planes have to be tight though!

Not poi but doubles...

Butterfly weaves.
Smoothed out a few new weave / buzzsaw type moves.
BTB waist wrap into cross BTB.

How many catches qualifies a juggle BTW?
