hey guys, just reminder about arts fest this weekend- any1 who wants to come spin and take part would be awesome, spread the word and recruit! waay..also if any1 coulld make a performance in martineaux sq on tuesday at 12.30-1.30 this is a "trailblazer" promotion for the arts fest weekend, if anybody wants to come down do it do it...enough of my stoned typing now. plur.

the martineaux square thingy - I forgot, is it fire or non-fire?

tomorro is non fire- weekend involves workshops yes, fire perormances on the sunday (not sat unfortunately) so yeah come down spin have fun be merry, play with toys and recruit as many other spinners as you can for extra gold shiny brownie points. do it. you are spartacus,

dunno how legal it'll be.. the Criminal Justice Bill classes more than 10 people listening to "music which is predominantly composed of, or features, a sequence of repetative beats" as a rave, and illegalises it.
I think there'll be some repetative beats and prolly more than 10 people, so technically it'll be an illegal rave (!)
But in the eyes of everyone but OB it won't be a freeparty and I don't think there'll be a rig. Just a housewarming of a couple of mates of mine, by a big lake and with no neighbours.
There'll be no illegal drugs consumed. And everyone will be in bed by 11. Honest.

just to clarify. my previous comments were not intended to be read in anything but a ligthhearted manner, i would dread the thought of my tongue in cheek remarks being the cause of a cycle of drug abuse and flagrant hedonism among any who may have the misfortune to read my garbled nonsense. wombles had the right idea.

SPINNY UPDATE:
Workshops and performances will be liberally sprinkled over Birmingham City Centre this weekend (9th/10th Sept 06) as part of the Arts Fest.
Fire show from about 7ish on Sunday at Eastside Park (don't be put off if you look at the sattelite photos - there is a park there. Honest!)

yea....dont get me started mate. bloody risk assessment, health and safety, bloody insurance bullshit. [censored] narcy council.we practice so we wont burn ourselves or others, we tend to know what were doing, we're all sensible and responsible people are we not !?.....ok, maybe im exaggerating our scruples somewhat but we aint daft thats for sure ! grrrrr.....i really shouldnt have gotten started.

just looking back on that post, i think i managed to keep my cool fairly well....im going to roll myself a tasty treat as reward... a tweedle dee a tweedle dum,
a cup of tea to warm my tum,
a smokey treat soon for me,
to ponder with whilst i drink my tea,
on all the things i've done today
and now how best to find my way,
to the kitchen- to the biscuit tin,
to go with the tea to dunk it it,
and then i think to bed for me,
