The only times I ever do a behind the back 5 beat forwards weave, is when Im finding out if I can still remember to do it.

I think its awkward and clunky.

Otherwise,

Mr UCOF. You make awesome videos (sometimes with me in them)

However your "advice" about the wrong moves (5 beat?) in this thread is rubbish

I'm still learning this one but I have some tips.

Break it down to one hand, you need to turn your hand upsidedown and keep it that way.

Try turning 90 degrees away from the side with the poi. The turn helps.

Yeah, keep your fingers pointing up, and keep your shoulders flexible.
I find too much turning can be dangerous. Not in terms of hitting yourself, just that you rely on turning your body and not allowing or should I say not training your hands and shoulders to do all the work. I think turning too much makes it sloppy, and turns your planes from side to alternating btb wall plane.
5 beat weaves behind the back are silly. I say spend your time practicing other moves.

i learnt this by trying to turn into it from a behind the back backwards weave, just try and do two beats at first, and instead of going over your hands at either side, go under....thats all i can think of...keep at it, dont give up and you will get it

hope that helps
