well done
just keep practising and youll have it soon i reckon, once one side is learnt the other is only a matter of time
some people find it helps to lean forewards.
good luck, o and shin pads?

You can do a 5 beat BTB weave ("normal" being 3 beat) - It's a bit twisty and awkward, but it is do-able
Slightly nicer are seperations/flowers and extensions where you make one arm do a larger circle, then throw in an extra spin whilst they are seperated....

waht i did was that i flipped shin pads around so i wouldnt get hit on the other side and second: once i got it going on both sides the string would be jsut the right lenght ( wih my bending over slightly) so smack me in the eyes nose wtv my face. i developed:)) ski gogles works like a charm if u need it

Thanx man I will try it soon.Do you have chains or strings?what kind of strings?what are the advantages and disadvantages of those two? And what kind of string do you use?is it flexible enough?

I recently got the hang of btb 3 beat weave, having spent weeks unable to walk due to mass bruising after trying it with my beaming poi.
Anyway, the thing I found that made it easier to learn is to push ur hands right out to the side instead of keeping them still, then move your ass out the other way. Once you have it going it looks like a funky little dance, but you're doing the btb weave, so who cares. Then is just a matter of doing that loads, while moving a little less each time.
Son you'll be doing btb hyperloops! but Until then, stick with the shinpads and ski-goggles.

I hate this move i have worked on it so much and yet i still cant get it
side note i made my own practise poi from material and stuffed it with heavey jean materieal still heavey enough to swing well but light enough so it dont hurt!!!!!!
i tried leaning forward and i tried doing alot of things, i can get one half of the loop as i bring it behind my back, its just doing the twist and bringing it back round i [censored] up on.

i always found when i was learning btb stuff that my hands tend to wander towards my bum! concentrate on making sure you're doing most of the movement on your lower back - the higher the better. it makes it much easier to reach round yourself.
