[nightshade1] burn the nose is swinging both poi in front of you in a reverse motion. gotta be careful you dont burn the nose though. prolly gotta shorten strings. i know thats vague. do a search. youll prolly find pics.

Burn the nose is also called Bicycle wheel and Buzz Saw.

You dont have to do it in reverse BTW. or vertical.

The Buzzsaw, Bicycle, or Burn the Nose can be horizontal, vertical, BTL, same time, split time, forwards and reverse. You can also open it out into a 'mini corkscrew' that goes above and below your arms (same movement as the normal corkscrew but all about chest height)

With short strings, hold your arms out in front of youo and spin the poi on the INSIDE of your arms (vertical and forwards and split time is easiest) so they form circles that don't cross between your arms. If the strings are too long the poi will hit youor chest while doing this.

hope that helps [Smile]

...and TTN is Thread the Needle.

I thought for a while but I think that's all of the HoP moves slang that we use, no?

But take a moment and look up "fountain" and "sparkly poi" and "How to make colored flames"... because that's usually a question that people ask that's been answered. That should put you on the same level as us "old timers" ... [Smile]
