Ok i had a gig the weekend, turned into a very sketchy night / day out but fun was had by all,
When i got home the sun was beaming and i decided to spend a few hours in the garden with my stix still on a buzz from the night before,
Man i have never learnt so many new things in a short space of time, most of them contisted of:
Basic staff contact with turns, ie. halo rolls, snes but with the other staff going the opposite direction (non contact) i was playing for hours with these and realised how many differant entry and exit point there are, even when you chuck in throws while the other is contacting!
I would write lengthly descriptions but my brain hurts as ive just got up and am having to face work.............
For any one that wants to see, ill show you at falmouth, any one not going will have to "wait" for a vid

Most of my practice time is spent on fishtails, steves and what have you. Each day a little closer...

have been in the staff section for ages
but figured out neck-spine-arss catch so thought i'd rave about it for a wheil
rave rave rave
anyhow the secret is to place the staff on the back of the neck really off centre so is almost pendulims back down the spine then jump into the catch and bring it through the leg quick b4 it hits the floor.
also have manged once or twice to put it into contact combs where you start by place the palce from behine the back onto shoulder- front neck-shoulder-180 -shoulder -180 -shoulder- 180 - neck - spine -arss catch
-------------------- Maybe I should change this too something abit nicer, humm no I still think your all C t

Ok all you fellow staffers! I've been very tricky in the last couple of days, and have suceeded in learning the elusive butterfly waistwrap with double staffs!
Ha ha! and they said i was mad!
Any advice on other tricks i should learn? In all truth i should set about neatening my style and making it all look more beautiful.... and work on my duel catches......
Thought you guys might like to know! So exciting!

Ok this not really new but a variation none the less
Matrix (not andre version) : first half, same as normal, second half as it comes around under arm (usually goes acreoss front of neck here)
Variant is - keep your head down and it does a halo (on the horizontal plane) from here you can almost go back into another matrix
