What the art of poi has done for me!

as some of you allready know i'm form usa and i go to college.
well it happens to be that i have a speech class and i was asked to inform my audience about someting interesting and that not many people will knew about. i talked about the art of poi : origins, health benefits, selfbenefits, and some basic, intermediate and advanced poi moves. it was phenomenal! to the point that my teacher asked me to present it in competition on december 1st. i went into competition and i picked fenced the other competitiors ( by the way pick fence in speech competitions means that i took 1st. place in all rounds even the final) i won first place and the director of forensics asked me to join the group and he also asked me to go and compete into the nationals in kansas city in march.
all i have to say is thanks.

ok. let me get this clear.
we all know what forensics is right? just in case lets leave it this way: medical related.
but forensics in speech or any mass communication field is the department in charge of competitions and all that kind of stuff. sorry about the misunderstanding.

Ahhhh!!! Makes more sense now. I was thinking your competitions were getting terribly cut-throat. Ha ha a joke!
