Melbourne poi workshops december 06

Hello all lou (adya miriyana) and i are coming to melbourne this december as part of our fantabulous panno holiday... im going to be taking a poi workshop with the details of that being...
Any level! Beginner -> poi nerd
When: Sunday 10th of December 06 12:30pm -> 2:00pm then play in the park Until the normal Sunday spinning meet.
Where: Queen Victoria gardens near the Hammer throw statue and the tree palm trees
Price: $10 or for a hug/donation if your a hopper
My Experience: attended Uber-Poi, Uber-Oz, CommonGround 05, taught beginners and Advanced poi at CommonGround 06, taught and Performed poi and staff on the Aboriginal lands,Regular performances in Adelaide.

Sounds great to me, and I'd be there too! And offer you bedding and couches and food and the like, but I'll be out of the country...altho...*lightbulb* I can possibly give you housekeys...

hopefully lou shall be traveling in the magical van too... thanks for places to stay offers shall definately be in contact closer to the time...

is that when all poi people are reincarnated as poi. and staff people as staves, cos if so...
poi people have to be chopped in half to ever live again.

you cannot "teach" the strut.

hmm... dont know if we will be there at the same time fin... but made me think i could teach some contact stuff as well... but i know there are melbourners that are much more adequite at playing with sticks than i... but my shaking sock skills are strong... strong like wood... *nods...

its probably best that we're not there at the same time, thats like half of adelaide gone.

you and i make half of adelaide?... and gnor i might just be going to perth late feb early march... as Tali (sister) has applyed for uni there and if she gets in i will be road tripping over there with here... maybe...

righty ho then... looks like we shall be leaving adelaide.. 4thish and going via cunnunda to mt gambier then through the granpians to melbourne then back to mt gam via great ocean.. or maybe do great ocean before and granpians on the way back... ether way i think i should set the date for workshop on the 10th of december... (may be subject to change)... any location suggestions? and who may we burden with our presence of an eve around this time? I have a stress about saying price.. so i have decided that i will run it for a donation decided by people who participate... (a hug or a thank you definatly counts as a donation )... so uhm let non hoppers know about it... get the word out... thinking that i would start late morning run a workshop till lunch then enjoy the afternoon playing with all you melbourne spinnish types then go to sunday spinning...
