Hi there

I need some help with my back swing, no matter what I do it seems to slant, should I have my hands upwards or downwards facing as either way at the moment they still slant!
I know this is a trivial thing but it's driving me nuts!

Thanks!

Durbs, I think the pretty fairy means a low wave. smile

Miss Pippage - as with every move, it's all about practise. After a while, your planes will improve and you won't hit yourself as much. Its much easier to learn with one poi at a time. With regards to the palms up or palms down, and I stand by this statement: Every (I think) poi move is possible with hands pointing both up and down smile

(if you are talking about the low wave, it is much easier with palms down though smile )

There's always the trick of spinning those planes while backed up against a wall. You'll be able to hear when your planes are going off kilter and make adjustments as soon as you feel the need rather than letting them go too far off before you notice the problem.

As for hand position, there's no real rules, whatever feels and works best..for you.

What may also help is holding your arm out and just swinging it as close as possible to your arm without touching it.

I dunno though. Been a good few years since I started it....
