Fireorb is what you described...
and what Seye described. I was sent one by FireBunny and one of our guys copied it using extendable wires so the length between the hands can be changed. Looks great.
The one I have is a type of beading wire suspending a small kevlar wick in the middle with two split rings that go over a finger on each hand. Does that help at all?

Thanx gnor, now i must just get everything i need. magic and illusion the same thing? it depends in what you believe magic can do, some may see magic as casting spells and others may see it as a small form of illusion but more slight of hand

magic rocks  simple statement but magic is generally a word used to describe things beyond our understanding... to some one in the 14th centuary a T.V would be "magic" jugglers used to be considered magicians back in egyptian times purely because people couldn't do it...
