ok at midnight it will be my 21 birthday.
i just relized there is now nothing to look forward to
at 18 you become a adult. at 21 you can drink and do lots of cool stuff. but then there is nothing to look forward to no more great mile stones. just 30 wich means that every one expects you to have a carrer and own a house and stuff. then there is 40 wich is over the hill and you are just conciderd old. then at 50 every one is just like you are still alive??
i hate this b day thing i want to be 20 again. better yet 18

Happy Birthday!! My mother turned 58 yesterday! Hope I look as good as she does at that age! My birthday's are generally crap (I have birthday issues!) and while I don't like physically aging, I do enjoy that every year I have grown more as a person mentally, emotionally and spiritually, every year is a journey. There are so so many more milestones for you to go through! Scary but exciting, your life as an adult is just beginning! I know people who are 'old' at 25 and others who are young at 75 so don't worry about aging which is inevitable - enjoy the journey!

right, i'm sorry, but that's just crap i'm an experienced oldie, i know what i'm talking about.

i'm 34 and i can honestly say that i enjoyed my 20's much better than my teens. and so far my 30's have been waaaaay better than my 20's.

you have the rest of your wonderful life to look forward to. your life will present you with many different experiences and opportunities. it's up to you which opportunties you take and whether or not you choose to find something positive in each and every experience.

Oh, i loved 21, but i loved 22 more than that, and 23 more than that again and so on.... every year seems to get better. I have more friends, a better idea of who i am and what i want to do, a better understanding of things, and more guts and determination to follow thru on the things i always wanted to do.
I am definatly a happier, healthier, more self assured person with every year that goes by.
Apart from the getting older thing - Time passing has been a great thing - enjoy the process

I agree with Mand, at some point you stop getting older & start regressing, but personally I think I just got stuck at the age of 23, at least in my own mind.
