Wish me luck

I made it to the octo-finals in my moot court competition! They're tomorrow morning at 10am. Quarter-finals are at noon and semi-finals are 2, so tonight I have to prepare roadmaps to argue either side of either point just in case I advance and have to switch arguments completely without time to prepare!

Eee, I'm stressed and crazy and exhausted and this has been amazing and damnit, I want to win! (Law school moot court is amazing fun!) We had Justice Scalia on the panel of judges for the final round last year. This year there's no one so prestigious, but there are a few really brilliant Court of Appeals judges. Aw, hell, I'm proud of being at least an Octo Finalist.

It's where us crazy law students write briefs and do oral arguments in front of panels of judges and then wait each night feeling nauseous hoping that we will be called in to argue the next day in the next round.

End result: I'm a Quarter-Finalist and I was invited to join our Moot Court Association and argue in intermural competitions! Yay! Thanks for the luck!
