Why are boyfriends complete muppets?

Well i've been going out with my bloke now for a while, so finding out that he is cheating on me with this ugly bint was not the party in the park you would of expected!

I like a fool lent him my phone so he could apparently call his sister (Duh! Dee u dumbass!) well it turns out that is was not his sister and that it was a girl called Sarah!

well over the past few days i got txt's like i love u xxxxxxx and I am laying here thinking about you i wish you were lying here next to me I love u so much xxxxxx etc etc etc! (urgh feeling sick pass the bucket please!)

now surely if u don't wanna have ur girlfriend find out that u are cheating on her why the hell do u borrow her phone unless you are some sort of dumbass that wants to be a chicken and tell her the cowards way!

Well my issue is now that what would be the MOST appropriate way to dismiss his sorry ass?

Any ideas?

I found someone selling all her boyfriend stuff on eBay the other day, that made me laugh!

Oh Hun trust me revenge is never sweet. You might get a laugh out of it for a while but in the end it just brings you down to their level, the level of a person you have no respect for.

I agree with Skully, don't go down to his level by getting revenge.

I would just explain to him that you know he's been cheating, and you could never go out with someone who cheats.

Act calm, and in control. It will probably wind him up seeing you act so calmly.

I think something really embarrasing would be in order......maybe pretend you find out while you're with him on a crowded street and you suddenly break down and have a huge rant at him so everyone will knwo hes cheated on you and will think hes a b@stard

I'm with Pink and Skully, he's evidently not worth your time and effort. Tell him that. You can do better. Tell him that too. I'd also text back the girl, be nice about it, because she may have been innocent and used too, tell her sorry, but she's been texting his girlfriend's phone.

Hey pinkboot! I can so understand you, been there too! And Skully etc ARE right. The more time and energy you waste on the revenge the more you think about him, and the harder it is to get it out of your head. Given that he seems to be quite arrogant (and silly) if he really thought the mobile phone thing was a good plan, he might be quite surprised by finding out you don't even bother to make a scene for him
