The only true winner in a fight between a tiger and a crocodile, would be the observing monk who will spend the next ten years meditating on what he has witnessed; before creating a revolutionary new style of martial art, named either 'crocodile-vanquishing-infinite-chi-tiger-style-kung-fu', or 'ultimate-crocodile-fist-of-destroyed-tiger-kung-fu'.

presuming they walking on land, tigers advantage... but croc and tiger with croc advantage... ie water... who'd win then?

Agree With Vamp on this one,, the tiger is a cat,, a big cat granted but not exactly Armorplated like our Croc Friend over there.
The Croc's basically a Dino that didnt get the 'Hey your extinct memo'
No Contest land or water,, all the tigers got is the speed to leg it and not much else....

The tiger is adapted to claw and bite into soft fleshy mammal hide. Crocodile has hard scales-tiger gets owned. Yet strangely Steve Irwin can play with them all day all but would get wolloped by a tiger.
