Unicycle Cost Question

I have a line on a very infrequently used (once or twice) standard 20" Unicycle for $35 USD.

Is this a good price?
I know that Dube sells them for about $100 but I also know Dube is over priced!

Depends on the unicyle...

I wouldn't really consider anything that's not around $75 to $100 US brand new.

There are a number of handmade unicyles that turn up from time to time, most of those sort you would be better off without, as they are very hard ot ride, and pretty much impossible to learn on (the axle is usually a single piece of steel).

Do you have any extra details on it? Brand, reason for sale, etc etc?

It will bring up uni's they have in stock that match your physical parameters (most PC way i could say that).

Charles, all of his equipment is Dube.
He has had it for less than a year, and only seriously used it a few times. He played with it a bit but not enough to give it wear and tear.

He is selling all of his performance equipment actually. I am also going to buy over $200 bucks worth of other stuff for about $85.
He did this is a college performance hobby but is graduating and got a job a corporate job in Japan.
He is trying to sell everything as fast as possible, for fast cash and to unload his beloved gear. Far be it for me to say no to that! lol

Oh, and just to let you know as well, this is not an over the net thing either. He is an upstanding member of the local juggling club that I belong to, so I can check all gear first!

$35 is an ok price for the dube uni's. They're made in china and aren't particularly strong.

The ones I've seen have pads on the seat that tend to chaff easier than other seat designs. A while ago, dube was giving away free stands with each purchase too, see if the guy has the stand to go with it!

Apart from that, if it is one of the ones I'm thinking of, it should be fine for learning on and doing indoor freestyle tricks. I wouldn't hop on it too much though
