Definitely. I think it's the only way to avoid homicidal jealousy.

Unfortunately for me (but fortunately for you lot) I've been umm-ming and ahh-ing too long about whether to come to this or Southern lights. Leaving it too long to book cheap travel and arrange accommodation. So I have now pledged by alligence to Southern Lights!

je veux bien cette fois, mais j'ai encore quelque test/exams pour l'université.....last ones.....will have finished it by july...so malheureusement cette fois c'est one or two weeks too early pour moi.....bisous a tous....and mucho fun!

Okay, my final decision rests on this...

Would there be any problems taking firestaffs across the channel on eurostar? I've heard horror stories about how the facists at airports, customs and the like (yes I'm aware that Eurostar isn't an airplane) ar funny with letting things with residual parafin and end up stuck in customs/quarantine...

Well don't have residuals! Wash your staffs, wicks, and bag if necessary and let them dry out in the sun. Many times many people travel fine with gear. Many times gear treated like this has been checked by the explosives sniffing wand at airports and no problem. Lotsa threads about this O Searching One

Those French kids really know how to spin! Just had a look at Eurostar prices and it doesn't bode well though. If I can get the Friday off I could just about keep travel costs to under £100 squid, but I don't really have a hundred squid to spare...

Dude - if you can take the time off work, you can come with the me, Strugglez, BlueMog etc - making it muchly cheaper.
But I think the Cat is leaving Wednesday...
