I think there should be a forum area dedicated to sharing moves and tactics of Fire Breathing! Different ways to spit the kerosene.... maybe cool ways to set it up.... possibly how to use firepoi for it so you can twist it into stringing.... if you burn yourself how to go down in style.... y'know, that sort of dealio.

Then again it's probobly not a popular enough thing to have its own section huh.... what do you guys think?

I think because it is so dangerous and the fact that we need new people to realise that it isn't just something you can pick up is the reason why it isn't around at the moment.

If new people wander in here and see it they will think it is okay to do it without really knowing the dangers and that is not something that HoP endorses.

The problem is it is not just kids that have a problem with understanding the safety requirements...that's another reason why it's probably not up here.

read this:

then ask yourself if you think Fire Breathing is still cool.

although, if Fire Breathing did have it's own forum then at least you could have a very prominant post at the top on fire safety...

maybe, or maybe it's still a bad idea, i don't know.

hmmm.... its not really popular enough for its own forum, and honestly its been discussed before.

there are threads on it from the past which have discussed a range of ideas. search through the technical dicussion & other toys section and you should find them.

theres probably not as much info as possible, due of a range of issues which i cant be bothered going through now - most threads are shut down reasonably fast.
but if you find the old threads, youll at least find other like minded individuals to talk to privately.

be safe.

I know i ve probably missed the boat on this thread, but i strongly agree there shouldnt be a forum for Fire Breathing, im lucky to have a couple of friends who i breathe with and we support each other. I definately wouldnt want anyone reading about techniques on HOP and going and trying it on their own without any experience. However if someone is determined to try Fire Breathing, or want to learn something new then they can quite easily get in touch with someone privately on HOP to meet up and be taught correctly.

No way

Safety is of the utmost importance to so many Hoppers and was espically bought to the forefront when one of our beloved mods, who is extremly trained and safety aware, had a terrible accident Fire Breathing.

Fire Breathing is dangerous and I believe that Hop chooses not to endorse it, and that is something I support 100 percent.

It doesnt matter HOW trained you are.. Fire Breathing is unpredictable and dangerous...in my opinion we should NOT have a section for it

*gets down off soapbox*

the damn kids and your safety was a joke... please don't vote me off the island...

also, i agree with hop not endorsing Fire Breathing as it is very dangerous.... i didn't realize how much of a sensitive topic it was and apologize if i offended.

much love
