Thanks for Creating This Section

Y'know, I'm not sure if we ever thanked Malcolm for creating this special forum. I think it's great that we have a place to discuss this that is separate from the social section. It allows people to be involved in this issue only when they want to.

And if we did already thank him, then thanks again.

Thanks Malcolm! You've been instrumental in builing a community here, and especially with current events as they are, it's nice to have a separate section where we can discuss the more heated topics outside of the social forums, and I find that I can even argue tooth and nail with someone in here but be buddy-buddy with them in a different section. So to your credit, setting this section aside has been a great modification to the HoP community, and we are all grateful.

It's definitely kinda cool how this forum's turned out. It seems to me that it was meant to be War Topics as in:

'Topics involving the war in Iraq'

but its ended up being War Topics as in:

'Topics that will become heated debates for people that want that kinda thing'

Maybe we should keep it, and call it the Heated Debate Forum, or the Angry Zone or something like that Any time a thread starts getting all just whack it in here so we don't scare any tender hearted souls who are just here for the hugs

Aye, 'tis good that the section of debate most likely to turn into slagging matches and people bitching at each other can be left out of the fluffy area that we call social

I haven't posted much in the war forum but I've observed the threads since the beginning and found it fascinating. So thank you
