This course covers a variety of styles and techniques of staff spinning, and caters to spinners of all levels from absolute beginners to contact staff fanatics.

We cover basic spinning techniques, explore different ways to link ‘moves’ together, and increase body movement with the staff. We can then explore more advanced moves including throws, kick-ups, doubles and (my favorite!) contact staff- where the staff rolls and spins on various surfaces of the body, mainly arms, neck and back.

If you want to know about spinning with fire we will cover fire safety. We can also look at other related areas including performance, choreography, dance, and acrobalance.
