Spinners Needed for weekends

I have 6 litres of parafin

Last night was the first meeting of the juggling society at Kent Uni. It was fun. There was one problem that was raised however...
a severe lack of teachers..



so i came up with the idea of inviting maybe a few of you each down for the weekend to give a lesson in your specialist discipline

ie:

Bam Bam: doubles and poi
Martin: jugglerising and balancing objects on noses
Glass: Staff or poi
Coleman: Poi or jugglerising
DdAds: Devil stickyness and jugglerising

etc.

These were only examples of who I know are dead cool at teaching(trying not to piss on anyones bonfire).

The society will be meeting on: *runs off to outlook express*

Friday 10 October
Friday 17 October
Friday 24 October
Monday 3 November
Monday 10 November
Friday 21 November
Friday 5 December

and meets from 5pm to 7 pm.

So if any of you fancy making a visit to me and eva one weekend and dont mind helping out and running a workshop, regardless of ability (I was running a STAFF workshop last night and I'm shit!)

I have 6 litres of parafin

There is plenty of floorspace at both mine and Eva's and i have a spare sleeping bag and lots of pillows/cusions/cumfy fings so dont worry about the space.

The town of Canterbury is beautiful and the Cathedral is spectactular, even better, its only a 20 minute walk away.

There will be nothing else than a few drinks and a smoke in it for the teaching, oh, and the look of joy on the pupils faces when they go away better than they were.

If anyone can help with this in anyway, PLEASE get in contact with me somehow.

If you are interested can you give me possible dates and times so i can write them down and start booking up my diary.

Canterbury is very very easy to get to.
Trains to Canterbury run about every 30 mins from Victoria and takes about an 1.5 hours to 2 hours to get there (which is about what i used to do every tuesday evening for spitz), so there is no reason why you cant get down.

I have already had interest in a visit (not teaching as i only had this idea in a dream last night...) from:

Bovril Monkey
Flynt (?!?!)
Psylent_bob
Broken Sky (Matt the Juggler)

and so anyone else is more than welcome to come down.

Ive also got 6 litres of parafin, kindly left by bovril, whihc NEEDS to be used after i was collared by the College master for having parafin in my room...it needs using and its not going to get used sitting in the flameable liquids store is it!!?!

How many litres have i got that needs to be used again? (you will remember that for the rest of the day now )

I probably won't be able to make it till later though, unless I book the friday off work... hummmmm

Sounds like a nice idea Jon, cant say now but will let you know when and if i can make it down. Plus Fizz's younger brother is down at Kent Uni too, and i should look him up. He may even help you out with the club if you ask nicely as he enjoy's his juggling stuff too.

DsAds considering you're lucky I didn't unlife you (killing sounds so violent) after you forced me to tell you my real name you should tread carefully i think.

But yes I tan. and i think 3 months in India, then several more months in Singapore, Malaysia, Borneo, Philippines, Australia and New Zealand would tan anyone.

Or is that just my imagination?

well i'm just a newb at poi but I'm ok at devil stix, juggling (balls, clubs, fire clubs/balls)and hot on diabolo (if i do say so myself!) so i couldn't do much teachin but i'd love to come down and lend a hand if i could. [note: even the stuff I'm good at is not at all 'jedi' standard!]

however - how far away from gloucester is kent? hehe, maybe present a problem?
