I recently bought a pair of Pois, after trying for a while with a friends.
However, my Poi smokes alot when they burn, and I donīt know why.
I use Lamp Oil as fuel.

Have I missed some important preparation or something that could be the reason for the smoke?
(I just dip the Pois in the Oil before I light them, when they go out I stop)
Should I mix the Lamp Oil with some other kind of fuel to reduce smoke?

From what I have read, Lamp Oil isnīt supposed to smoke much, and my friends Poi didnīt smoke so much and I think they used Lamp Oil as well.

They will smoke using lamp oil. Reasons for more smoke than other people might be if they're kevlar wicks maybe your wicks have a higher cotton blend in them. Or your lamp oil may not be that pure. Also make sure you soak your wicks for sometime to makes sure there's fuel all the way through.

I am not sure if it is even sold there, but it is merely gasoline that is refined better .It burns much cleaner that is why it is used for camping stoves and such.

It is a little different than better refined gasoline. It is actually a different level of distillation. It has longer carbon chains and is not as volitile, though it is still a petroleum product. The main advantage is that the vapors are not explosive or even flammable. Never use a fuel with flammable vapors for fire performance of any kind - very very dangerous!
