any tips on consciously redefining your comfort zone and aclimatising to rapid change, or just becoming comfortable being uncomfortable?

become impatient? Everything will seem slow then...

Do you feel out of your depth? Or just like things are going so quickly that you're not in control?

If you don't feel comfortable with the pace of things, try mapping out where you're going in detail, so even if you're going there fast, you'll know where you're going and where you are.

or maybe: Do more research into your area, or into the things you've suddenly had to learn, it should help to 'settle' the new knowledge, in other words: do your homework...

I wouldn't say you should be become used to being uncomfortable. Surely your uncomfortable for a reason? Like I don't want to become comfortable with writing buggy code. That's not going to solve my problem...

when i say become comfortable being uncomfortable i mean with being aware of the risks and unknowns but just being comfortable that they are being managed well, just being comfortable with uncertainty and taking risks with big amounts of other ppls money (i always smile when the other guys talk about asking investors for atleast a million dollars because otherwise they wont take you seriously) its so like playing poker but playing with your talents instead of cards and betting with other ppls money

There's your answer. Get better at poker...

Just remember it's all just stuff

Company money isn't real money (doesn't go as far for a start!). And what's 1M AU$? Isn't that about £50 or something? What you're going through is exactly how a good startup should start. One thing is to try and push if further in small ways, even if it's just in your imagination - then you get a bit of a feeling of control, and the scary speed is a bit less than what you've imagined, so it doesn't seem as bad.

Sounds good, though!
