Poi in a Video Game

So then i went out on saturday night and met one of my game designer friends who is at uni studying at my mates 18th. Well the reason she arranged to meet me was one i could never forget!! She has told me that she showed a couple of my videos of me spinning poi at a party to some of the people at her uni next thing i know i am being booked to be motion captured (In a black spandex suit with white balls on it) for march!!! I am so happy i am going to be in a game!!! and being able to promote Poi at the same time

I'm hoping for a game where you hold a wiimote in each hand like drumsticks and use them to manipulate real physics based poi heads ingame. or a ninja. with nunchucks. who could totally kick Chuck Norris' ass. (ok, that last part is impossible, but still)

For the Wii i'd be interested in a dueling game with lightsabres or katanas , though i'm not sure if such a game exists as I haven't really researched wii all that much.

The Metroid game for the wii looked really funky too!

Hi guys sorry for the long time no answer internet connection is a little sketchy... The game is in devlopment and my part is being captured in march so far i know very little about the game except it is being made by the game designers at the university of swansea (one of the best game design places)

Sounds interesting. If Parkour got a game, I don't see why poi can't get one too.

Whenever I play DJ Hero and there are poi spinners in the background I've had friends and my husband say "Hey aren't you supposed to be back there?" the sparky balls commercial I thought was funny, but a touch offensive all at once. It's still fun though!



If you have the game they appear in more venues that you unlock, yeah DJ Hero is a guilty pleasure only a few more weeks til the sequel too!
