Danae,

I will be around at least part of your sejour in Paris.

I am as easy to find as your nearest mobile phone. [Smile]

The city of lights will glow even brighter in your presence.

I'd stay away from Nomad. He's French now. I heard they don't bathe. [Razz]

I arrive in Paris on April 21. I'm there Cass.

Glass (Drew), are you the guy I met with Dom in the park in London last June? It'd be great to see you again.

You guys should hang. I like you both.

Glass is a hugely talented poi nerd and Nomad is a pretty bitchin' performer. Y'all could learn a bit from each other.

And you're both nice. And chick magnets. [Wink]

No fair! Paris is far too far away to stalk Cass all the way there, then back again. Guess I'm going to have to sulk on a tropical island somewhere [Frown]

Thanks NYC, nobody ever called me a pretty bitchin' performer.

Cass/Drew/Raph (sorry the other two), we definitely have to meet up in the week of April 21-26. I like the idea of spinning fire on the banks of the Seine with you guys to celebrate my return to Paris after 7 years away!

I have a couple of friends who would probably love to come too.

What's a good bridge to spin at?

And where does one find fuel in Paris?

The Paris KMart! (AKA My favorite place to shop: BHV!!!) Also, any hardware store seemed to have stuff. Don't buy white spirit because it's smelly and sucks to burn despite the fact that many Parisians seem to like it. I think I spun with something with "d'essence" in the name. Upstars BHV by the paint thinners. I think... I have it written down somewhere but I've got to run to work.

I really think you should try to 'take back' the ampitheaters by the Arab Institute. Those are just so friggin perfect if it wasn't for the other fire spinners.

Petrole des aromatise! Yes, that's it. I even checked my little map which I had written it on but you beat me to it. In the white bottle with the green label. That was it. They did have it at BHV right?

Drunken idiots and violent assholes? That doesn't sound too promising... Why why why does it seem like the fire scene in Paris sucks so bad? WTF? Everywhere i've been in the US and in London, fire spinners were always nice and friendly.

Those amphitheaters are really amazing indeed. Are there fire spinners there every night? If not, maybe we can start taking it over on their off night...
