Oh damn you HOP!

I look around this site and become fascinated by all the talent that is encompassed by everyone. And DAMN YOU! You all make me realize how much I suck (but hey, Im getting better) and make me want to take up more art forms. The contact juggling thread made me realize how much contact juggling intrigued me years ago and how I want to learn... yet Im just about to start fire poi and want to focus on one art at a time.... yet it's just so tempting!

Do I keep playing with my fabric poi... do I do fire... do I do contact juggling... if only I had more money to get them all, lol.

So here is my words to everyone.... DAMN YOU for inspiring me to want to do other stuff

i've owned a unicycle for almost a year and a half but still cant ride it very well cause i only practice juggling, staff and footbag.

Thanks to HoP i'm inspired by fans and regularly practice with them

yes i know the feeling too lol.
only it just makes me want to practise and practise...then ice the spots i hit my self with when doing a new trick

a good thing to practise with is put bean bags on the end of your chains.

i hate not being able to be "as good" but that just makes me admire them more, cause it takes so much practice...

so yeah since dicovering this site... poi has taken up pretty much all of my spare time lol

Absolutley. Doing a bit of everything is great fun and you will find you concentrate on on thing for a while then get bored of that so move onto something else. Then when you go back to what you had been concentrating on before, loads of it will have sunk in unconciously and you can do loads more than you thought you could.
Its like learning without trying
