Needing HoP points for a gallery

So you need HoP points to get a gallery. Fair enough, I'm guessing it's about bandwidth.

Has it always been like that?

My girlfriend signed up on HoP and was really irratated that you can't get a gallery without buying something. I'm fairly sure that when I joined you were given gallery space after about 25 posts.

Is this right? Or have i just had too many blows to the head from moves gone wrong?

as far as i know, you get the gallery after earning points (after buying somthing), and its always been that way (as far as i know)

i got my gallery after buying 1 (on so far only) item, so its not that bad,

but then again, you've been on here much longer than me. and im really sorry for my useless info!

lol, i do know for a fact that i have not bought a single item from hop, but do have a rather impressive but small gallery! so i'd say that you dont always need to buy items from hop to get a gallery, then i suppose it depends on when you registered!

I know that since I registered it has always been that the more you buy, the more points you get and the larger your gallery is. It's the actual starting of the gallery I was wondering about.

So general concenus is, you used to get one after a certain number of post but not any longer?

I think I got mine along with my title, so that'd be a hundred posts...

Though I never have enough room to put more than one or two pics in.

Not having a credit card has its ups and downs...

i have no title, and i just checked on what i have avail. it says 150.0kb.....so i guess you get some space when you sign up? casue i haven't bought anything from here yet.......

ok, ive had my gallery space for a while but no pics, i havnt got any descent poi pics yet so what should i put in there?
