Manchester Meet

Just wanna say i went to manchester's monthly meet on sat, it was only the second time i have been to the meet, and it was so much FUN. not only was it nice to practise/learn poi with others around but everyone is so sociable(bad spelling im sure!) and theres a really good warm atmosphere. cant wait for the next meet and i plan to keep practising!!!

was a great meet im getting the cash sorted and payed in 2 mos not sure i met you if i did sorry im crap with names.

its all good. i dont know that many people properly just yet. i first came down with kit aka midian is kinda know mike (loki) too. my names terri so if i havent already met you im very pleased to make you aquaintence.

hi skrible, i think i saw you but not sure, i had the cool multi coloured glo poi and i also span really fast ina circle and fell over near the puddle, had ginger hair?

i think i remeber you. i not HI! I've not been spinng long but soon i will have my own poi and i will learn to weave (eventually)

It wouldnt be that your not good enough Havokist, its just unless you do something silly that embarasses yourself such as spinning in constant circles, falling off pogo sticks or attempting spinning blindfolded such as me n tobi, dont expect to be remembered just kidding mate

Will, i sooooooooo wish we had the camera on you when you did that! And Tobi too!

Spacecow, we usually meet in Piccadilly Gardens, then on to a nice spinny place called the Gasworks...

Oh EVERYONE!!!!!!!! Bring Spray paint next time, so's we can spruce up the "Manchester City Council Authorised Graffiti Zone"

i am at friend of kits and i have only just started coming to the meets. i dont think i had any cake. i had fun though!
your all so just sooo nice! HEHEHE i have just started to poi and im learning slowly i cant do much but i wish i could weave (its so very difficult)
well i should be at the next meet anyway stood trying really hard to weave.

I sure am, goin to see cirqu de soleil on the friday night but aiming to get to Manchester in the afternoon time and leaving whatever time on the Saturday. xxx

Hi Skrible were you the girl I was talking to sitting on the wall and having abit of a lesson? If so, next time we'll get you weaving for sure - just keep practising! Hope you're coming in Feb? check the Events bit... and make sure you're free to stay the whole time and not run off early

Vixen, will def come and meet up with you - what time's the performance you're seeing? Trafford Centre's abit out of town so either we'll come to you or you come to us - we'll give you directions

i did fall off the pogo stick i almost face planted...

if someone gets a HUGE piece of card for the next meet, unless i can get hold of one, and i'll make a BIG stensil in the honor of HoP

but im running slightly low on spray...

Neon colours and UV reactive paint in the offing i think...
