Low wave help?

can anyone help me with the low wave because the video doesn't describe it well in the free lessons

It's a mexican wave only lower, that is one hand does a beat of btb butterfly whilst the other does one normal butterfly, then swap. Personally I learnt this move by accident when trying to learn mexican wave - imho it's a lot easier.

Low wave and hip reels are the same... low wave is just a name given to butterfly hip reels.

so does that mean that, the mexican wave and shoulder reels are the same? these things really confuse me as well

Yeah, in the same way mexican wave is just a name given to butterfly shoulder reels in particular... same direction shoulder reels are the windmill... at least, thats always been my understanding.
