poifull_spirit journeyman Registered: 03/03/09	Hey all, I am looking at possibly running a weekend poi retreat down in Jan Juc (Torquay, Australia) and I was just wondering if there would be much significant enough interest to run it. For those who don't know, Jan Juc is about 1.5 hrs from Melbourne (20mins past Geelong). The basic plan is a Friday afternoon to Sunday night/monday morning. I'm looking to run it in either March or April depending on a few factors. I'm hoping to rent out the surf lifesaving club which will provide us with all the facilities we need and we'll be right there on the beach! Price is yet to be determined (hopefully not too much), as are max numbers... currently just looking for interest. As with most of these things it'll be a beautiful sharing of knowledge, with daytime lessons and night time burn. Anyway, let me know what you think guys. The details are: Where: Jan Juc Surf Lifesaving Club, right near Torquay, which is about an 1hr 15mins out of Melbourne. When: 26th � 28th March Ticket Price: $100 Early Bird Price (pay Before Feb 15th) $120 Normal Price What does my ticket get me? The ticket includes accommodation and dinners for the Friday and Saturday nights. Also hours of poi workshops and awesome fire spinning to be had in the evening! Get in quick because space is very limited and we've only got about 30 spots. TOTAL! Also Awesome teachers of many disciplines to teach you new and fun tricks.
