It's been a good week

This week has been really good so far. Monday morning I got a very unexpected promotion (complete with 40-50% pay raise). I've been a post-doc for a year and a half, and by the end of the summer I will be a faculty instructor with essentially the same duties I have now (yay me ). This evening I met a photographer who will be doing a photo shoot of me spinning this weekend for the local paper. He's really cool and plans on writing the article himself as well even though he is mostly just a photographer. I even got him to learn the butterfly with my sock poi at the end of tonights photo session - he wanted to see me practice so he had some idea what he would be shooting on Friday night at the beach. Mucho coolness...

i've had an incredibly lucky week - found 80 quid in my bank instead of 6!!! and the nice lady in costa gave me a free hot chocolate cos i tole her boss she deserved a pay rise!!!

Im on work experiance this week and im having fun there. Booked holiday for me and dad in devon in thsi activitie place all like absailing and canooing and stuff so can't wait for that (4 weeks and counting!) no potential buyers for house yet...but thats a yet. keeping my hopes up. I have alotta things to be miserable about. but im not! im all happy
