Have you named your computer?

Ive seen a few people today saying they have named their computer.

and I also remember on the wierdness test, that "have your ever given your computer a name?" was one of the questions.

Well I have.

Firstly, she was named Angelcake.
I decided to name it after I was having serious problems with it and out of despair and desperation, thought she mihgt sort herself out if I named her and talked to her.

She didnt.

So I replaced whatever I think was wrong and called her Angelcake Mk.II

Then when I upgraded my motherboard, it wasnt really Anglecake Mk.II anymore, so I had to come up with a new name.

She is now called "Kitty Galore"

well mine actually is "stupid dumb piece of crap" which I suppose is either the middle or even the first name of most computers running Win..: o) tho I'd like to hear other people's opinnions..: o)

Haven't named this one here, but at home, we've got Sonybeau (me), Pablo (my bro), Sonybelle (me), and Shiba (bro). My parents just shrugged and went along with it, and these names are all commonly used and understood in my house...

maybe Ill give the next computer a real name

Mine is just called......... hmmm can't type it here because of the PG rating.

Mine gets called all sorts of expletives most days, does that count as a name, I wonder??

my mum named this one Madison, but my new pc came with the name Synthia despite it being brand new...

I dont know why. Its usually only called that when he gets an attitude

Mine is named Tim, in honor of Tim the Enchanter.

when i built this computer i tried to name is "Biccardo Conquistidor El`Destroyerio"... but it was too long and since my last computer's name was Biccardo.... i decided to name him Edgar.

although most of the time he responds to "you worthless piece of s*%t" and "i'mma kill you!"

it's tacky, but mine's named Deep Thought. my dad named it. personally, i'd have named it Hactar, which is the computer from life, the universe, and everything

mine doest exactly have a name, but i like to name my drives where i store music and movies and whatnot..

Mine's called Lazarus. Largely due to processor issues when my friend was helping me build it.

Most of the time it's called something rude though, especially since it's running Millenium as for some bizarre reason the motherboard wont run 2000 and we didn't have a copy of anything else at the time. I REALLY hate Millenium!

I call my lap-top Haemmoroids because it is a bleeding pain in the....o.k then... bottom

Mines an old laptop, so I called her Martha, and stuck little stickers of butterflys on her. We get along quite well, but shes an old gal, and probably not long for this world.
