This email is my attempt to update people who has shown a interest in attending Hanmer Springs Wellness festival as a facilitator, exhibit stall holder or potentially may be interested in my new email address for the Festival & a update on the festival . Only weeks to go so I am sure everyone is looking forward to hearing where we are at with it!
Our Website Challenge (opportunity)Our biggest challenge to date has been our website. Graham who is also Directing this event and is the owner of Hanmer Events was using his events website & web designer to presence this event on the web. However that has not worked out as his web designer has had other commitments and has not had the time to spent on it. In light of this a few weeks ago, we looked at alternatives and eventually I realized that it made most practical sense at this stage if I took over the design of our webpage.....once I learned how. So that is what I have been focused on these last few weeks and it is all going well. I have purchased a new domain name
www.wellnessfestival.co.nz and I expect our webpage to go live early next week. Hanmer Events will point its information Wellness Festival Page to this new page.
Once this page is live and functioning we will be moving full steam ahead on the marketing side of things. I will focus on Social Networking and spreading the info virally which we would appreciate your help with. Graham has organized signage on the roads, radio & magazine advertising. We will also have access to many businesses databanks in which to spread news on our events.
The intention is to get as many pre-bookings as possible. The webpage will be set up with a shopping trolley, however it may take a couple of weeks for this to be completely active & working well.
People will be able to purchase individual workshops on the website. However the website will be promoting people to spent over a certain amount so they can become a Silver, Gold or Platinum Package member and receive lots of extras for free or discounted. Groups or family 's can purchase many workshops together but they will be accountable for checking times & dates to make sure they can attend these workshops once they are purchased i.e 3 members of a family may be attending 3 different workshops at the same time!
The Event (9 Venues)One of our 9 venues will be a Body, Mind & Soul exhibition site where we can house 20 big stalls & 10 smaller stalls. I am just waiting on the confirmed prices for the stall holders. Held at The Hot Springs Motel Conference Hall.

There is still a few people I have not put into the program so if this is you please contact me on 03 3157429 The reason you have been left out for now is I am not clear on what it is exactly you wish to offer e.g workshops...how many? or/& exhibition stall with a opportunity to present a talk on what you offer. I also may need to contact you to review or confirm the prices for your workshops. I would love to speak directly to anyone I have not spoken with yet regard the Festival over the phone or in person to confirm details & share ideas.
Lots of exciting developments happening around the festival. I am looking forward to getting all the info up on the web this week. We also will have people teaching Poi Twirling & a fun Zumbathon Finale charity Event on sunday afternoon, a inspirational movie house & evening entertainment.
This event is continual evolving, thus we are open to move with the flow of the current for miraculous uplifting transformation , joyous celebrations & magical co-creations. Lets collectively create this event as that & more becoming! Hanmer Springs is naturally a place of nurturing wellness ~ healing ~ growth in essence & with this timely event we get to accentuate & dance full force in the qualities of this magical place in these magical times of change & transformation.
The local Hurunui District Council / Tourist Board already has a master plan of action to develop this area as a Wellness Destination. Our festival will indeed be the first of many more to come with the expectation that it will evolve beautifully and masterfully over the coming years.
The Vision (feel good connected fun for all) “Wellness is a multidimensional state of being describing the existence of positive health in an individual as exemplified by quality of life and a sense of well-being.”
www.definitionofwellness.com The simplistic Core Vision for this festival is the premise that we all fundamentally desire to feel good, confident and uplifted in ourselves and this happens when we feel connected & supported by all of life....every aspect or dimension of it. This happen when we feel empowered to know & share our truth, our passions, our unique contribution, thus evolving & uplifting life for all beings. From this core vision this festival flows, with fun, dynamic & empowering conversations, activities, tools, energetic techniques & connections that support those who desire to step even more fully into & experience there greatest potential to be there greatest contribution to life. They now get to live & breath the truth and knowing of there passions in full expression and alignment of integrity, abundance & joy everyday.
This festival intends to attract all those that align with this vision. This is the new paradigm conversation where we get to celebrate & dance in the simple truth of who we really are from the inside out. For many it is still a bit scary to let go of old ideas & reference points on how we thought we should live our life & how it was suppose to look. However it is far more exciting, relaxing and fulfilling to experience & adventure into new ways of living life here on planet earth that feels connected, empowering, uplifted, free flowing, abundant and of course practical. Life naturally is in constant change regardless and we now get to choose consciously to flow with it or resist and do things the harder way round....its a no brainer really!.

Conference Call I would like to host a conference call and invite everyone who is contributing there valuable energy & passion to this event to connect. It will be a opportunity to align with each other, the vision for this event and what we collectively intend to co-create with even greater focus, clarity and confidence!. Of course it will be a practical opportunity for you to be updated on the logistics and ask any questions. I expect to do this in the first week of september.

Just another thing to consider if you have family & friends coming is to book accommodation early as the festival is in the middle of the school holidays and Hanmer is normally already busy at this time.
