Hmmm, it depends what and who the logo is intended for.
That looks great, Malcolm, and i have a feeling a lot of time and effrot went into it, which is why I'm a bit embarassed about saying the following...
I feel that image would confuse most people who were't familiar with HoP already...I even had to look for a short while to find the "of" myself.
I too, like the original atomic symbol, (which is simialr to the one in the new design) and in my mind, it's cleaner to have a symbol fairly seperate from the words, if there are more than three letters, and the words are not in common usage.
How about chunking up the original one, so i's bigge and fatter, with strong outline of hard-dark blue but keeping the red/yellow colours as well?
I feel, as the pois and their paths, are the harder image for people to understand, it should be stronger and more obvious than the image of the person.
Then using a similar human figure (that one does look great) as a faded background behind the pois themselves...this will draw their attention to the poi's, but show them that a person is required as well.
This would even allow lines from the figure to the poi themselves, without detracting from the path-symbol, as long as they were as faded as the image of the person.
For T-Shirts, I would love for HoP to keep the original font at the top of the page...It's easy to read, has a nice chunky style to it, and, now that I look a bit closer, is actualyl trademarked too!!
(Hope i haven't upset anyone)
