HOP Glow Sock Poi (color changing LED hackysack)

has anyone tried these or seen them being used, because i would love a set of fabric made sock poi, because i kinda dont like the friction my socks im using have, anyway, i also like to do it in the dark, and i find sock poi are alot easier to do hyperloop tricks with.

Tested and approved? Or just a floppy sack.. ?

i'm waiting for mine to arrive so i'll post a mini reveiw when i get them.

first impressions - very light, strecthy and bouncey.

The socks still need sewing after the glow hacky sack is put in.

I haven't had chance to try them in the dark but i shall post some pictures when i do.

tangles - tend to knot up fairly easily as the fabric is quite thin

shall play some more and then post again.

I played with some last night at Jillys in manchester and thought they were pretty cool, Sniper has some so PM him and ask him, ive ordered some too, they are a good price, and i orderd an extra hackysack so can turn it into 3 glow juggling

Mine arrived on Friday so I had a bit of a play over the weekend.

These are my first set of socks so I don't really know how they compare in terms of weight, feel etc etc

They make a trail of green, red and blue dots in the dark, I was at a mushies party on Saturday and they went down well there, it does need to be quite dark to get the effect.

I also ordered a third and tehy look pretty cool juggling in teh dark.

All in all I'd say they were a good buy, I just need to get used to playing with socks

Beaming balls hurt.

put them in fishnet stockings - good bouncy factor without being too too bouncy and lets lots of light through

has anyone found using them as hacky sacs breaks the internal LED setup? or are they reasonably safe to knock around a bit?

well, if they are the same ones that sista' firewire uses (no idea if they are), then they are fairly durable. she's the one I got the fishnet idea from too...

Are the hacky sacks fairly strong ? I mean ... can they take a fair bit of beating, while not killing you if you hit yourself ?

Do they come in the HOP socks or less stetchy socks?

I ordered a pair, should have them in a few days..i'll let you know if they're any good.

ive dropped mine a few times while jugglign and they seem to be very robust and dont hurt if they hit you, however one of mine i think seems to bea bit faulty like if u drop it it'll go off then you have to fiddle witht he connector a bit to get it workigna gain, but its too muhc of a hassle to send it back to NZ

i'd say there are a worthwhile investment
