Gallery Comments idea..

Would it be possible for there to be an easier way to see if you have any comments on your photos in your gallery? I like to check and reply to people who comment, but it takes me ages as I have 3 pages of pics. Would a forum-style view for each gallery be possible, or maybe a pm telling me who commented about which pic and when?

I don't know how difficult this would be to do and so I wondered what other people reckon. I love the galleries, possibly my fave bit of the site (except, of course, all you lovely people) but it is time-consuming to check these every time I want to.

the 'most active' view is pretty good.

if you view your gallery using this view, you only have to look at the first picture to see if anyone has left you any new comments.

but a pm would be even more handy

good thinking coleman, I've not been doing that and it'd certainly help.

spherculiasm has a fairly neat gallery system, but I think they use PHP nuke or something and implementing it into hops stuff might require a bit of hammer smashing.

I will look into it when I get some time.

Found this thread when about to post in the help section if there was some way I missed to get an email when someone comments on one of your photo's.

view by most active helps, but that still requires you actually go to look at your gallery.
