Location: Maenporth Beach
Accomodation: Tregedna Farm Campsite (the other one for those of you who attended Falmouth 1 or 2)
Duration: Thursday evening - Sunday evening
Attractions: A beautiful beach, (hopefully) glorious weather, a big feckin fire, more beer and smoke than you can shake several large sticks at, and a bunch of lunatics playing with fire.
Throw in a few workshops, the obligatory 8 mile hike, and yer talkin' heaven.
For those who have not attended a Falmouth event before, there are videos of the last two here and here.
This may well be the only Falmouth event this year, as us Cornish types will all be going to the Play Festival in August - and recommend that you do too!

Damn! You don't waste any time do you A new sprog in Jan means that I'm unlikely to be attending anything before May but we'll see...

Sounds like a fine date to me should have accrued or how ever you spell it enough days off by then. Is this a deffinate date so i can book it or is it liable to change?

Heh. I try not to. I discussed it with Bird and we both felt that the sooner a thread like this went up, the more people we'd be likely to entice down here. Planning and whatnot.

Congratulations man, but I agree, camping and a 2 month old would probably rule out any chance of you having much fun. If you do feel daring however, I'm pretty sure the campsite has chalets, which might make things easier.
SDLW>> I'd love to say go ahead and book it, but it would probably pay to hang fire a few weeks and see what other people think. The date may change, but I think Easter weekend would be ideal due to bank holiday-ness.

Then what would be the point of inviting you? Neither of the campsites at maenporth are actually open in march, but oi reckons they'd take a nice phat group booking of circus folk. Hence the price should be fairly reasonable. I'll ring 'em and see what they say. I'd also love to hear any offers from potential workshop organisers? Will Strugz pass on more of his killer doubles secrets? Will Dunc be able to help me understand whip catches? What can't Durbs do with a CJ ball? The answers to these and many more questions can be found on a Cornish beach.

Fear not Faceless one. You'll be amongst friends, and you certainly won't be the only one who's apprehensive about meeting a large group of insane fire twirlers. Most people are the first time. Go on, take the plunge. It's only down the road for you anyway, so there's really no excuse.

Yes!! Falmouth would be fun again.
Terrible at organisation so when a date is set I probably leave things to the last minute and then turn up.

It kinda is Falmouth 3, cos the one last week was officially (because i decided) Falmouth 2.1 I can rename the thread if you want? Mike>> Couldn't agree more. Bring drums, rattles, pans, maracas, and anything else you can bang, and we'll be nicely sorted.
