Oooooh, pretty. I was obsessed with 1 for years.

Hated number 2, but I think it was mostly because of the hype and I just didn't want to jump on the bandwagon.

This looks pretty... I may have to give up my game strike for this one. o.O

No rumors or gossip here, sorry.

rumored release date - 2012

I have no idea what the required specs are but I just built a new compy that can handle anything out atm so I'm not too worried.

pssssssh. forget diablo3

what i cant wait for is Fallout3

COOLEST ROLE PLAY SERIES EVER well the first two were easily better than either diablo, so hopefully the third fallout installment will beat the third diablo.

Given how utterly pathetic Blizzard's support is for WoW, I'm not going near this. I thought EA were a bad publisher when I was playing BF2, but Blizzard take the piss with the level of ignorance they show their customers.

I've heard a rumour that Fallout 3 was gonna be banned in Australia. If that's the case, does anyone know of a place I can live while I finish the game four or five times over?

Never really got into Diablo. Too much back and forth for my liking.

*cries* noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

they so wont. its designed to be a mature game, so it may be r rated, but i think it will be ok. it has to be ok!

its going to be soo pretty. i'm thinking about russeling up some dollars to buy a new computer for it because yes richie, i do believe your laptop would explode if you tried to run diablo or fallout on it.

cant wait cant wait

the question is, who here has actually played the other fallouts? (cause if you havent you should before the new one comes out and the world will make more sense)

I've definately played both Fallout 1 and 2, they're right up there along with Final Fantasy 7 to prove that games aren't just about graphics.

http://au.gamespot.com/news/6193496.html

Long story short, it says that it's been banned to sell in Australia, so I'm not too sure if this extends to importing/bringing back as well.

i'm so shattered, i think i might resort to substance abuse to numb my pain

/irony. their reason is stupid as the original games where the same drug taking actions are involved are already legal. i'll be getting it one way or another.

Me too, not to mention plenty of other people.

I've heard rumours about a 'tame' version of Fallout being released, but it just isn't Fallout without R-rated content.

Pffft. Game bans are rubbish. Manhunt II was banned and I know loads of people that have it.

Don't worry, you'll get your fanboy paws on it

What about Dawn of War 2 ( http://www.dawnofwar2.com/us/home )?! Is no one else excited about this one?

Maybe change this thread to "Awesome upcoming games"? =P

my lap top is l337 by far for these games (waiting for D3)

i garentee if you try enough you will get fall-out 3 here.

if your not even a computer-literate person it will still be out here. like above person said, man-hunt2 was suposed to be banned. and i own it.(im australian)

you do the math.

Indeed to the above - despite that fact that I won't be able to contribute as much, i usually keep my head in the sand about upcoming games.

Sometime next year there's a massive Rover Scout event in New Zealand - if I end up going it would be really easy to get a copy or three.

yeah, my brother is coming back from london early next year so its a no-brainer.

seriously? a soft version? i have read about it and i guess for the developers its vital to get it to our market, but i think the real fallout fans who've played the originals wont settle for some watered down nonsense, nor be willing to pay full retain price!

if i'm going to pay for fallout three i want to get fallout three, its as simple as that.

no doubt the edited version will mock the australian film&lit classification board or the ban in some manner, i would expect nothing less from fallout. hrm, its initialls are OFLC. i wonder what new meaning the beth crew could come up with?

*bump*

I've spoken to three independant sources (websites, store owners etc) and they all seem to agree that the changes to the Australian version will be:
- changing the drug 'morphine' to 'Med-X'
And/or:
- eliminating the taking-drugs motion the character makes

Given this, I'm changing my view on the Australian version and saying that these changes won't affect the game too much from the original, and that it'll still be worth playing. Having said that, I usually don't have drug-taking characters anyway.

yep, i joined the Bethesda forum and this topic gets flogged to stupidity.

the change is minor and wont effect the game, cant wait for it to come out, but my pc needs fixering up first me thinks.

Hmm, I'm tempted to get that Spore game too - but I might see if I can find a free demo first, it has me curious more than anything.

But still a month away from Fallout goodness. Or badness. Or corruptionness - or whatever. Fun!

Spore is fun. Also surprisingly able to play on (now low-end) systems....
